You have been keeping very active lately.  You started doing Tae Kwon Do several months ago and you really like it.  You are working toward your yellow belt right now.  Papi takes you to your classes most of the time.

You also decided at the last minute to do YMCA basketball.  It has taken a while for you to engage much with the other girls on the team, since most of them go to St. Joseph's school, but I think you guys are warming up to each other.  Your coach was on the Men's BSU team and played overseas for several years, so he seems very experienced and organized, which I like.  You have made several baskets at the last 2 games that you have had.  I'm hoping the coach will continue to volunteer and you can maybe have the same team if you choose to keep on doing it.

We have also been learning to ski as a family this winter.  You may not have been terribly excited to do it in the first place, but I think you enjoy it quite a bit now.  You are gaining confidence and going faster each time we go.  On Friday, you went through some of the little "shortcuts" on Coach's Corner for the first time and you did great!  I am excited that we are going up to McCall in a few weeks to ski at Brundage, as it seems to have better easy runs that we can practice on to get better.  I hope you will like doing something that isn't the bunny hill for the first time.

Freddy got skis yesterday and they are very cute.  You are very clever in your creations.  They, of course, have bananas on them.  You also managed to make a pair of ski goggles for him (I think with a little help from Papi).  He went skiing on a little mountain of snow in the front yard.
