The other day we were sitting down to dinner at Grandpa's house.  You requested the curtains be closed because the sun shining in through the window was bothering you.  Papi tried to convince you otherwise and said that then you wouldn't be able to look at the birds eating the bird seed.  To which you replied, matter-of-factly, "I don't care about the birds."  It was funny. The last several weeks we have done some longer hikes and I have been very impressed with your endurance.  You tell me that you now like hiking "a little."  I'll take it. Last week we hiked to Stack Rock and you only had to be a carried a little on the way back at the very end.  Then the other day we hiked the Station Creek trail in Garden City and it was pretty steep, especially at the end, but you walked the entire way with almost no complaining.  Papi took a very cute video of Matías helping you down a little patch of the trail that was a little too steep for you.
