You made me a pretty neat 3-D paper city scene the other day. The day before I noticed you were very focused on some little crafty project at the little white table but I was busy doing my own thing, so I didn't look too closely at what you were doing. And then the next day as I was helping Matías practice piano you suddenly presented me with it. I am very impressed by your abilities and imagination. I know it was a gift from the heart. You also like to hang up your drawings around the house. The other day you decided that the bedroom door to my and Papi's room looked too bare, so you made a "Mami and Papi" sign as well as a floral drawing for both the front and back of the door. There is also a sign downstairs near the bathroom reminding each family member "Lavar las manos." I think that one was made in reaction to the pandemic.

Ironically, you often ask to do math problems, or for me to ask you an equation like, "What's 4+5?" And you initiated reading by yourself, as well. ...
